Exposing Democrat Campaign Rhetoric

Part 2 of a Series

The list of baseless DNC propaganda is long and growing. In the first of this series, I dispelled the myths regarding which party is owned by special interest groups, Democrats by more than a 10 to 1 margin, and which party was built on playing dirty politics, again Democrats. Part 1 of the series can be viewed at www.JB-Williams.com recent articles page.

In this segment, I want to address two of the BIGGEST lies being told by Kerry and the DNC.

Campaign Myth # 3 – Bush “lied” about WMD in Iraq.

Fact – The existence of WMD in Iraq was never in question. The world knew Hussein had them, because he had used them.

Fact – Combined US intelligence provided more than satisfactory evidence to support our suspicion that Hussein was continuing to develop and conceal WMD, particularly in those 4 years of no inspections pre 9/11.

Fact – WMD are NOT just a stockpile of nuclear warheads. It is any weapon that can be used to cause mass casualties, or mass destruction of property. A hand gun is NOT a WMD because it can only be used to kill one person at a time.

Fact - Harmful chemical and biological agents are a special type of WMD because they only have one purpose, to cause mass casualties, and they can be weaponized by advanced methods, on the tip of a warhead, or any number of low tech methods such as sent through the mail, or blown through a ventilation system, sprayed over a community, or dropped in your favorite local buffet.

Fact – A lunch box full of the right material deployed in a densely populated area can cause the death of millions of innocent civilians. It can be easily transported, almost entirely undetectable and impossible to combat or remedy once released.

Fact – Hussein had demonstrated a willingness to use these types of weapons in the past, including against his own people.

Fact – Every reliable intelligence agency in the free world offered additional supporting evidence that Hussein was continuing to develop and conceal WMD, including French, German and Russian agencies.

Fact – More than 75% of all US congress men and women, including the two prior administrations, John Kerry, John Edwards, Teddy Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, Tom Daschle, Al Gore, Dick Gephardt, Hillary Clinton and others made the exact same case concerning WMD in Iraq as Bush. If Bush “lied”, then they all “lied”. (Kerry’s statements on Iraq can be viewed from the home page at www.JB-Williams.com )

Fact – Chemical, biological and yes, radioactive materials have in fact been found in Iraq since the removal of the brutal Hussein regime.

Fact – It’s NOT, nor was it ever a stockpile of long range nukes that we were concerned about in Iraq. It was the thermos full of easily concealed, transported and deployed materials that we were then, and remain now, concerned about ending up in the hands of a terrorist sleeper cell in the US.

Fact – On September 11, 2001, four passenger jets were converted into WMD causing the single largest body count in any one day in US history.

Fact – Nobody “lied”, they all made the same case, and they were all right.

Campaign Myth # 4 - Iraq was a mistaken departure from the war on terrorism.

Fact – September 11th forever changed how we view the world of threats to our American way of life, and our willingness to wait for the threat to materialize on American soil.

Fact – Terrorism was growing in frequency and reach throughout the 90’s as a result of our reluctance to confront the world wide problem directly. 9/11 was planned in the mid 90’s, and carried out more than 6 years later by a determined, innovative and patient enemy.

Fact – A connection between the Hussein regime in Iraq and Al Qaeda and the Taliban in Afghanistan was made in 1998, evidenced in the 9/11 Commission Report on page 66.

Fact – Multiple Middle Eastern terrorist organizations have worked together and supported each other for decades. Though their motives and goals often vary, they have always operated under the theory that “my enemies’ enemy is my ally”.

Fact – Hussein had a long history of supporting and funding outside terrorist organizations and activities in the region, and there was no evidence to suggest that Al Qaeda would be any different.

Fact – Iraq presented a unique target of opportunity in the war on terrorism. (a) Iraq presented an opportunity to draw all terrorist organizations in the region into a central battlefield and theater of operation away from American soil. (b) The maneuver presented an opportunity to enforce formal US policy of regime change established by congress and the Clinton administration during the 90’s. (c) It presented an opportunity to develop over time a reliable free nation that would become a US ally in a region of the world that had been war torn for centuries.

Fact – Regime change in Iraq was NOT a departure from the war on terrorism, it was a flanking move in the war on terrorism. It was a calculated maneuver, one that has had immediate benefit, and will have long range benefits in the war on terrorism and the ability to secure the region and our nation in the future.

Many Americans don’t get any of this, and there are at least a few reasons why.

First, for security reasons we don’t share every detail of what the war plan might look like, how it is being implemented, or how it might change as the fluid nature of any war develops.

Second, it has been a long time since America has been at war anywhere, and we have never faced this type of enemy before, and never on our own soil.

Last, in a country where everything has political implications, great efforts have been made to intentionally mislead the public on this and many other topics.

If every American fully understood what I just presented, would any politician be able to run against this President?

In the next segment of this series, I want to move to domestic issues. Most important of these issues is our current economic condition, and jobs.

So I will address campaign myth # 5 – Bush has wrecked the US economy, and # 6 – Bush has been outsourcing our jobs.

Before Election Day, I hope to expose every DNC lie and present the facts on each issue to the American people.

John Kerry will get X number of votes from the “anybody but Bush” crowd no matter the mountain of evidence against that. But I trust most Americans can still recognize truth when they see it.

Exposing Democrat Campaign Rhetoric

Part 1 of a Series

Due to the overwhelming amount of disinformation that has been spoon fed to Americans by the Left Wing of the Democratic Party and the liberal media, the debunking of these myths must be done in a short series rather than a single article.

Campaign Myth # 1 – Rich Republican’s are beholden to BIG special interests.

Fact – In this 2004 Presidential election, as of this writing according to IRS filings, the Kerry/Edwards ticket has out raised Bush/Cheney some $500 million to $269 million including actual campaign donations and the top fifty 527’s, 501’s, PAC’s and Unions.

Fact - Kerry/Edwards is funded 42.2% by legal individual campaign contributions, and 57.8% by 527 & 501 special interest groups outlawed by McCain-Feingold. In stark contrast, Bush/Cheney is funded 88.9% by legal individual campaign contributions, 1% by legal PAC contributions, and as of this weeks jump, 10.1% by special interest groups.

Fact – Despite the efforts of McCain-Feingold, special interest money is more involved than ever in American history, Kerry and Edwards have a 10 to 1 advantage, and this will be the first billion dollar Presidential election in US history as a result.

Fact – Despite DNC campaign rhetoric, it is the Kerry/Edwards ticket which has been bought and paid for by a few socialist billionaires’ attempting to buy control of American policy making.

Fact – No self respecting liberal is the least bit concerned with special interest influence in Washington, as long as it is their candidate getting the special interest money.

All data can be confirmed at the most comprehensive campaign money tracking site on earth at: http://www.opensecrets.org/index.asp

Campaign Myth # 2 – Republicans are playing dirty politics with smear campaigns.

Fact – Bush and the RNC began the 2004 campaign process by attacking Kerry’s, and later Edwards Senate records, both in terms of missed meetings, and in terms of voting wrong and opposite their campaign rhetoric. For the record, attacking their resume’ is only dirty if their resume’ is dirty.

Fact – It was Terry McAuliffe (head of the DNC) who fired the first dirty shot in the campaign when he leveled the baseless accusation that George W. Bush was AWOL during his guard service. Despite millions spent by the DNC and national media efforts to dig up proof of such a claim, no proof exists.

Fact – Despite the current crying about the Swift Vets 527 organized to challenge Kerry’s fitness for the job of Commander-in-Chief, it was in fact Kerry and the DNC who formed, funded and defended the use of 527’s as a means of funneling special interest money back into the campaign process.

Fact - It was George W. Bush who opposed campaign finance reform from the start out of concern for what we now witness. It was Bush who opposed the use of 527’s from day one by taking the issue to the FEC, and then to court, where they were told the 527’s fall through a loophole in the law, and to form their own 527’s.

Fact – All available investigative results have found no direct connection between the Bush/Cheney campaign and the Swift Vets, or any other 527. The same can not be said for the Kerry/Edwards campaign.

Fact – The Kerry/Edwards campaign, and their surrogates have used the following terms to describe their opponents, Hitler, liar, AWOL, coward, stupid, dangerous, crooks, deserter, thieves, criminals and murderers. They have used the following words to describe anyone who opposes them, including Vietnam Vets and former POW’s, liars, cheats, criminals, baby killers, and co-conspirators.

Fact – To date, Kerry/Edwards 527’s have spent almost $300 million smearing the Bush/Cheney ticket. Bush/Cheney 527’s have spent only approximately $26 million defending themselves against an overwhelming smear campaign leveled by Kerry/Edwards.

Fact – It is in fact Kerry/Edwards, the DNC, Michael Moore, Al Gore, Howard Dean, MoveOn.org, Joint Victory Campaign, Media Fund, George Soros, Peter Lewis, Steven Bing, Bill Maher, Teddy Kennedy, Tom Harkin and a large cast of  socialists and Hollywood elitists who have spent unprecedented amounts of money and the last year smearing George Bush and Dick Cheney.

Fact – Without special interest money from the worse possible sources, and a years worth of smear campaigns from the entire host of unsavory characters, there would be no Kerry/Edwards campaign.

That should pretty well cover the facts relative the first two major myths being spoon fed to unsuspecting American’s who have trusted the DNC and the media in error.

In keeping with my early commitment to take this walk to enlightenment one step at a time, so as to leave no one behind, class is out for today.

Stay tuned for Part 2 of this series where I will debunk myth #3 Bush lied about WMD’s, and #4 Iraq was a mistaken departure from the war on terrorism.

For those of you who think everything is debatable, the facts contained herein are not. The “truth” has no side, “facts” are not swayed by political agenda’s, they just are what ever they are.

This is not a debate, it is an attempt to provide factual information to combat the illusions created by political agenda’s. To be certain, everything today has political implications including this series. But not everything has a political agenda, and real facts, real truth, never do.

Who’s Betting on Whom?

The Death of One More Myth…

Written by JB Williams

In my last article, I laid to rest the notion that Kerry/Edwards were anything short of the two biggest political prostitutes in Washington in terms of sucking up special interest soft money. Despite Kerry’s “anti-special interest campaign rhetoric”, no McCain-Feingold legislation was going to keep the king Kong of soft money shake downs out of this Presidential race. (Next to marrying rich women and dodging fellow veterans, it’s one of Kerry’s few true talents.)

However, Kerry’s socialist billionaire buddy’s and Hollywood wacko’s won’t be able to overpower the votes of average Americans come November, people growing sicker by the minute of the most obscene election campaign in US history, courtesy of Kerry and the DNC.

527’s, 501’s and PAC’s are investing record sums in this election, (sure to reach a billion of that money “outlawed” by McCain-Feingold), and clearly, Kerry/Edwards are the landslide beneficiaries of all this dough, at least 88.5% of it as opposed to Bush’s 8.5%.

The real question is who are the voters betting their money (future) on? Part of his stump rhetoric is anti-special interest hyperbole, but Kerry has a clear 10-1 advantage over Bush in sucking up special interest money, more than $186 million as of the end of July from 37 of the top 50 political action organizations in the country, and a few more.

So what about individual contributors, average American voters, who are they betting their hard earned money on? It’s no secret that individuals base their contributions on who they feel best secures their future. So who do they believe in enough to put their money where their mouth is? I did the research, and found the answers quite interesting!

Based on IRS reports of campaign contributions for each candidate filed as of August 15, 2004, individual contributors in nearly all professions seem to feel quite different from the special interest organizations propping up the Kerry campaign. Here’s how individual contributions break down by the top 26 contributing professions, according to legal campaign filings with the IRS. (By candidate grouping, working sectors are listed in order of who contributes the most).

As of this report, these top 26 contributing professional sectors have donated a combined $142,469,466 to the candidates in individual contributions within campaign finance limits, a combined 61.8% of that to the re-election of Bush, and only 38.2% to John Kerry and the DNC.

You will notice that of the 26 professional sectors, only 8 are betting their money (future) on John Kerry, and it is very interesting (revealing) to look at which ones those are….

(1) Lawyers, [an obvious one for obvious reasons]. (2) Education Professionals, [equally obvious considering Bush has made them responsible for “leaving no child behind”]. (3) TV/Movies/Music, [still wondering if the “media” tilts left?]. (4) Publishing, [as in “newspapers, and magazines”, still no surprises]. (5) Other…[anyone know what profession this is?]. (6) Democrats & Liberals, [anyone know when this became a profession?]. (7) Ah…ha! Professional “lobbyists”, 100%* [anyone (dead from the neck up) surprised by this one?]. Last but not least, (8) Non-Profit Institutions, [like Rainbow “PUSH” coalition maybe?].

Think this is a new trend? Think again…

Kerry’s Senate career has been paid for by Trial Lawyers, Labor Unions and Lobbyists for years. John Edwards bought his own (one term) Senate seat with $6,150,000 of his own money, $2,676,293 from buddy trial lawyers, and a scant $426,152 from actual individual contributors.  Check it all out here at www.OpenSecrets.org

In 2000 (pre McCain Feingold), the top 50 soft money contributors invested some $125 million in the Presidential candidates, 73.1% of which went to the Al Gore campaign.

At the end of the day, the message couldn’t be any clearer. First, without special interest soft money, there wouldn’t be a DNC or a Kerry ticket, which explains why they wasted no time circumventing McCain-Feingold.

Last, regardless of Kerry’s campaign bluster about being the choice of working men and women, working men and women in 18 of 26 sectors are betting their money on Bush!

Put that in your peace pipe and smoke it a while!

 SPECIAL RELEASE.....August 20, 2004

Bring It On…Swifty!

Written by JB Williams

©2004-08-20

John “Swifty” Kerry says George Bush is behind those ads challenging his military “hero” status. But the fact is, it’s some 254 fellow Vietnam era Swift Boat veterans, (60 of whom have signed sworn legal affidavits). Legally, Bush can’t have any connection!

Swifty says George Bush is to blame for the Swift Vets 527 and the connection is one “rich” Republican from Texas who donated a couple hundred thousand to the Swift Boat Captains for Truth. But Swifty has nothing to say about the $186 million “pro-Kerry” sludge fund behind MoveOn, Joint Victory Campaign, Media Fund, and America Coming Together, and 30 others just like them.

Swifty accuses this “rich” Texas Republican of doing Bush’s “dirty work”, but he has been silent for 9 months about the $40 million doing his “dirty work” courtesy of Peter Lewis, Steven Bing and George Soros.

Swifty says these Swift Vet guys never existed before he won the DNC nomination. But these are the same guys who confronted him with these same charges 30 years ago upon returning from Vietnam.

Swifty tells Bush “Bring it on”, which is (tough guy) code for, since my fellow vets are trashing my hero status, I’m going to trash your military record. But Swifty has nothing at all to say to his actual accusers.

Swifty accuses the Bush campaign of unethical campaign tactics. But Swifty has no comment concerning Michael Moore’s unethical incursion into the campaign process with his baseless propaganda piece bashing Bush.

Swifty thought Whoopie Goldberg’s vile Bush bashing was funny as all hell a few weeks ago, but Swifty ain’t laughing much these days, now that the other side has entered the ring.

Let’s remember who fired the first shots here shall we.

It wasn’t Bush, but none other than Swifty’s current Commander and Cheat, Terry McAuliffe who launched the first grenade accusing Bush of being AWOL in Alabama, when no such charges ever existed.

It wasn’t these Swift Vets who returned home early from combat to malign Swifty. It was Swifty who returned home early to malign his fellow soldiers still on the battlefield. Apparently, they have not forgiven or forgotten.

It wasn’t Bush, the RNC, Karl Rove or the Swift Vets who decided to make Swifty’s four month service in Vietnam the centerpiece of his campaign, it was Swifty.

Bring it on Swifty! If you have something to say about the charges leveled against you by your fellow Swift Boat Vets, say it to them! Bush wasn’t there, and he has made NO charges against you regarding your service, quite the opposite in fact.

Swifty reminds me of a child who got beat up in the school yard, then searches for someone unsuspecting and unrelated to the incident that he can beat up in order to feel better about himself. Trouble is Swifty is beating up the wrong guy. Why not fight those who are attacking you?

For the record, it is Swifty’s campaign that is benefiting from more than $186 million in 527 and 501 soft money Bush bashing, not the Bush campaign that has thus far raised a measly $17 million.

Despite Swifty’s total silence during 9 months of Bush bashing, he is now demanding that Bush silence these Swift Vets. Of course, there is one minor problem with his demand, the First Amendment.

Obviously, one of our two Presidential candidates is a lying, conniving, and sniveling cry baby who is not happy with the corner he has gotten himself into.

I trust the majority of voting Americans can figure out which one!

Bring it on Swifty! Clearly, you are a legend in your own mind, now be the man you always wanted to be and face your accusers head on! Leave Bush out of it and address your accusers directly or SHUT UP and take your medicine!
